Favourites from 2008

I'm sitting here next to Beverley who is cuddling our (very well behaved tonight) lovely baby Siena, and we are both watching Relocation, Relocation. Ha! House programmes just don't seem that relevant at the moment with the economy and banks in such disarray!

Anyway to lighten my mood I've been looking back at some of last year's weddings. What follows over the next few days will be a list of our favourite locations and photos. (A quick caveat - these are our faves (not a best of) and not necessarily the choices of our clients!

Well, here goes:

#1 Stanley House, Mellor, near Blackburn.

We really enjoy working at this venue. Staff always seem attentive and well trained, the wedding coordinator is a great guy, and the hotel and grounds really lend themselves very well to our style of photography. The buildings are built of a fabulous warm local stone, the gardens are beautiful and as it's on a hill, you can get amazing skies without any clutter.
