Kate & Joel's Wedding at Hollin Hall Hotel

I'm pleased to at last blog about Kate & Joel's fab wedding which took place at the very beautiful Hollin Hall in Cheshire on 15 May.

If you are a friend, family member or guest and want to see over 300 photos from the wedding you can follow this link. To enter you'll need to register, which only takes a few seconds, and to enter Joel and Kate's surname in lowercase followed by an exclamation mark, e.g. smith!

Anyhow back to the day itself...the day began with me a bit stressed about the wonderful British weather! I headed over to Joel and found him looking very smart in black and white and then very happily surprised as he got a present from Kate - a very impressive Audi stretch limo to take him to the Hotel. The Limo was provided by Style Limousines.

After that I headed off to Hollin Hall in time to capture Kate and her bridesmaids getting ready and looking great!

Kate's beautiful dress was by Blush Designer Bridalwear and her beautiful sunflower bouquet and the other flowers that adorned the stairs and other rooms were by The Wild Bunch.

The ceremony itself was really beautiful with Bride and Groom looking very much in love and incredibly happy. Live music was provided by the talented Caldara String Quartet throughout the service, and indeed during the whole day.

After the ceremony it was time for everyone to dash outside as the rain had temporarily let up! After photos of Mr &Mrs M we had just completed the confetti shots when it begain raining once more and everyone headed for cover!

Luckily for me, Hollin Hall is a lovely venue to work in on a rainy day, and I was able to take some fab photos throughout the rest of the day and during the wedding breakfast speeches and cake cutting. The exquisite cake was made by Trifles in Ashton - and matched Kate and Joel's theme perfectly.

The Bride and Groom danced their first dance to "Heaven" by Bryan Adams and afterwards Joel took his place behind the drums as the guys rocked out, performing a really great version of the Otis Redding/Black Crowes song "Hard to Handle".

It was a great day! Thanks to all the guests and the Hotel staff for making my job easy.
